The episode starts with Anupama telling Kinjal to hold on. Kinjal worries and asks Anupama if anything will happen to Paritosh. Anupama offers comfort to Kinjal. She reassures Kinjal that everything would be fine. Anupama tells Kinjal not to give up hope. Kinjal extends an invitation to Anupama to be with her. Anupama assures Kinjal that she would always be there for him.
Anuj asks Vanraj to calm down. Vanraj is remorseful for what happened to Paritosh. Anuj tells Vanraj that he understands because he, too, cannot stand even a minor mark on Anu. Vanraj asks Anuj if anything will happen to Paritosh. Anuj comforts Anupama. The doctor shows up. Anuj consults the doctor regarding Paritosh. The doctor cautions Shahs that there would be serious consequences and suggests they wait until the next morning.
Anuj asks Anupama to keep him updated while Anu searches for Anupama. Anu learns about Paritosh from Anuj. Anu explains why anytime she needs Anupama, the Shahs also need her. Anuj asks Anu not to be sad. Anu determines to pray for Paritosh. She also asks Anuj to help her in finishing her project. Maya decides to help Anu. Anupama confronts Vanraj about the doctor’s refusal to tell her anything about Paritosh.
Vanraj asks Anupama to wait. Shahs is informed by the doctor that Paritosh has had a paralytic attack. Vanraj is perplexed as to how this is possible given his age. Leela asks Hasmuk about a paralytic attack. Hasmuk notifies Leela of Paritosh’s paralysis. The doctor informs Shahs that a paralytic attack occurs when there is too much pressure on the brain. Vanraj and Anupama are both surprised.
The doctor believes Paritosh will be able to heal if he regains consciousness within 24 hours; else, complications would occur. Anupama is distressed. She pleads with Paritosh to wake up and quit punishing his parents for being his parents. The Shahs weep. Anuj learns of Paritosh’s sickness. Anu asks Anuj to give get well soon card Paritosh. Anuj decides to drop Anu at school. Anu insists on Maya accompanying her. Maya is unsure.
Maya, Anu insists. Anupama notices Maya and Anuj in the car together. Barkha informs Anupama that Maya and Anuj traveled together. Dimple and Ankush question Anupama about Paritosh. Anupama sobs as she notifies Paritosh’s condition. Dimple advises Anupama not to worry about Anu because they are all there for her. Anupama said she isn’t concerned about Anu because everyone is around her. Maya, according to Barkha, is also present.
Ankush questions Barkha about taking Maya’s name to which Barkha replies it is important. Anupama is with Anuj on a video call and laments for not giving Anu enough time and attention. Anuj consoles Anupama. The doctor informs Vanraj and Anupama of Paritosh’s fatal stroke. They inform Shahs about the situation.
